2-23-2011:
Rally action begins in only 2 days; rain, snow, or shine. Volunteers are still needed and can register on-site Thursday evening, Friday morning, and Saturday morning. (online registration is closed)

This year we have many great Open Class teams in attendance, including 2010 Rally America, Canadian, and North America Rally champion Antoine L'Estage of Montreal, Canada; BMX legend and action sports star David Mirra from Greenville, NC; David Higgins of Trefeglwys Mid-Wales; and last minute entry, 4 time Rally America National Champion Travis Pastrana! of Annapolis MD.

Along with the many Open class cars, we have Super Production greats Travis Hanson from Traverse City MI, Lauchlin O'Sullivan from San Francisco CA, and Ramana Lagemann from Boston MA

Also, many fast 2-wheel drive teams are challenging the rally, including 2009 Rally America Rookie of the Year and 2WD Champ, Dillon Van Way from Carencro, LA; Wyatt Knox ; Chris Greenhouse of Cincinnati OH; and Matt Bushore of Detroit MI.

2-22-2011:
Great news, the Steelville Chamber of Commerce informed us that food will be available for sale on Friday at the Steelville city park during the rally service break. Stop in to watch the cars being worked on and grab a bite to eat.

Worker registration is open for the 2011 Rally in the 100 Acre Wood. If you would like to volunteer to help run the event, please read the information on volunteering and fill out the worker entry form.

3-3-2010:
Links to photos and videos have been posted to the media page. An official Rally America recap video has been released on their YouTube channel along with other interview videos. The website will be updated over the coming weeks with all of the media that is released on the web.

3-01-2010:
Congratulations again to Ken Block and Alessandro Gelsomino for their fifth win at the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood, driving their 2009 Ford Fiesta. The Monster Ford Rally Team won with a combined time of 1 hour 27 minutes and 27seconds, over 20 seconds ahead of the second place team of Antoine L'Estage and Nathalie Richard in their 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. Full results are listed on Rally America's site along with lots of photos and videos.

Competitor bulletin #4 has been posted to the supps page outlining changes to the supps and appendix 1 along with service maps and an adjustment to SS13.

2-02-2010:
The designated spectating locations have now been posted to the spectating page. A detailed map will be printed in the Salem Newspaper before the rally or you can download the map ahead of time.

The 100 Acre Wood rally made the front cover of Rural Missouri's February edition.

3-3-2009:
Congratulations to Ken Block and Alessandro Gelsomino for their fourth win at the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood. The Subaru Rally Team USA duo won with a combined time of 1 hour 25 minutes and 20seconds, over 43 seconds ahead of second place. Full results are listed on Rally America's site.

3-2-2009:
Photos, videos, audio interviews, and articles are starting to come in. A full list of rally related media is being gathered.

2-23-2009:
Travis Pastrana will be in the St. Louis area on Wednesday, February 25th from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the Lou Fusz Subaru dealership in St. Peters, signing autographs & visiting with fans.

2-16-2009:
The online spectator guide has been posted to the website. The guide includes a rally schedule, articles, maps to the spectator points, and driver biographies.

If you will be visiting Salem for the rally you should bring along the restaurant guide and the service guide to help you find your way around the city.

2-6-2009:
Organizer Bulletin 1 has been posted to the website. All competitors should download and read this bulletin. The Supplementary Regulations have been revised and directions to the awards ceremony are now included.

1-21-2009:
The 2009 Supplementary Regulations have been posted to the website. All competitors should download and read the supps.

1-20-2009:
The rally schedule has been updated. Private cabins and rooms for rent have been added to the hotels page.

1-3-2009:
Many of the Motels, Hotels and Bed and Breakfasts will be filled to capacity come rally weekend. There is a need for more rooms for some of the Rally organizers, drivers and team members to stay close to the start-finish line and are willing to pay a modest fee.

If you have a house or cabin to rent or just an extra room or two in your house that you would be willing to rent for two or three days, please contact the Salem Chamber of Commerce at 573-729-6900. Read the full article for more information.

The planning for the 2009 Rally in the 100 Acre Wood is underway. The website will be updated as more details are finalized. Check back throughout the winter for updates.

Congratulations go to Ken Block and Alessandro Gelsomino for winning the 2008 Rally in the 100 Acre Wood event. This makes three years in a row that the duo has won the rally in southern Missouri. Full results and photos can be found on Rally America's website. www.rally-america.com

The rally committee would like to thank all of the workers for coming out to help in the bad weather, the competitors for putting on a great show, the local help throughout Salem, Steelville, Viburnum, and Potosi, and everyone at Rally America.

We hope to see you all next year again!

2-21-2008:
UPDATE: The rally is still a GO! We've had some questions from workers and spectators if the event was not going to happen. This is incorrect. We are holding the event!

We had a bit of weather come through on Thursday but nothing too bad. If you were thinking about canceling, please don't. We need plenty of workers. So far we are running short and need all the help of you volunteers.

Catch the first two rounds of the 2007 Rally America National Championship on ESPN2 and ESPN2 HD, Tuesday July 3rd at 4:00pm (Central).

Follow 2006 Champion and X Games gold medalist Travis Pastrana as he defends his title against a field of talented challengers. Rally stars Ken Block, Tanner Foust and Andrew Pinker battle Pastrana from the snowy, sliding action of the first round - the Sno* Drift Rally in Atlanta, Mich. - to the rain-soaked roads of round two, the 100 Acre Wood Rally in Salem, Mo.
