Information on Volunteering


If you want to get a personal front row seat don't just spectate, get a hands on experience and volunteer during the rally!

If you wish to help us out at the rally this year there are two ways that you can register.

Option 1: Fill out the easy worker entry form, with all of your information.

Option 2: Email curt@100aw.org requesting a desire to volunteer and he will email you back with a list of questions to be answered.

  Attention Rally Workers:

If you plan on bringing children under the age of 16 to the rally, you must have a minor waiver signed by both parents. These minor waivers will be available at registration or you can request one in advance by email from www.rally-america.com. The minor waiver only applies if you volunteer to work and does not apply for spectators.

Worker Training sessions:

Marshal training session:
Date: Friday February 22 - 9:00am
Location: Salem Fire House. Corner of N. Main and E. Center.
Workers: You can go to this before you register if needed. Try to park in the lot across the street and enter the main lobby area (do not block any fire truck driveways).

Control Captains meeting:
Date: Thursday February 21 - 8:30pm
Location: Salem Holiday Express meeting room.


Stage maps for workers:

Workers, stage maps will be provided to you at registration. If you would still like to download the maps ahead of time and print them off, a PDF document has been provided for you.


What to bring to the woods - For stage workers:

  • Food, snacks, & something to drink (non-alcoholic)

  • Warm and waterproof clothing and boots. Plan for warm to cold, rain or snow.

  • Flashlights and extra batteries

  • Reading material when you have time to kill

  • Markers and ballpoint pens – Start and Finish crew will be furnished, but it is good to have extras.

  • Clip board with light if you have them

  • Radio scanner, so you can get the net

  • FRS radios and cameras

  • Gas. Fill your vehicle before leaving Salem

  • Toilet paper and Kleenex

Marshalls: Your stage captain will have a map to get you to your next assignment. Follow them when released from your first assignment.
