Competitor registration for the 2018 Rally in the 100 Acre Wood is now up and running on Rally America’s website. Entry fee and other payments can be made on the 100aw.org website by online credit card payment processing or by check.
VOLUNTEER registration is now open. Please register at http://www.rallymasterpro.com/workers/?group=6
Each year, we rely on around 300 volunteers to make this event possible. Those workers perform as course marshals, start/finish workers, spectator marshals, communications (ham radio) operators, medical professionals and sweep/recovery people. Please consider volunteering and getting a front row seat to the racing action!
If you can’t work both days, please considering working at least one. We actually usually need more help on Saturday than Friday. When you register, it will automatically check both days, just review that and make sure it reflects what day(s) you can help.
Rally In The 100 Acre Wood is pleased to announce we will be part of the Rally-America national series again in 2018. The date for our event will be March 16 & 17, 2018.
The complete Rally-America schedule of events can be found in their recent release here: http://www.rally-america.com/news/entry/2018-rules-letter
Printed spectator maps will be available in the Salem & Steelville newspapers a few days before the rally and printed spectator guides will be available in various stores around the area the week of the rally. Or visit the Rally America information booth at the Parc Expose’ on Friday and Saturday to pick up your free copy of the spectator guide.
Again for this year we will be using a text messaging service from RainedOut.com. We will be able to send mass text messages to anyone who subscribes to this service. These text messages will update you about delays, cancellations, or other urgent rally related messages.

Competitor bulletin #1 has been posted to the supplementary regulations page. This covers registration for the testing day on Wednesday, March 15th.
It’s Rally in the 100 Acre Wood time once again everyone! It is coming up soon on March 17th & 18th. As always, we will need hundreds of volunteers to make this event happen. The majority of volunteers are needed for Marshal positions (i.e. blocking roads/drives to ensure the course is safe), crowd control at spectator areas, and start/finish line workers. These are things everyone can do, and get you some free 100aw Swag and front-row viewing of the race action! So, invite your friends and come help.
In addition, we always need a good number radio operators, those being licensed Ham radio operators. The ham radio net is the backbone the communications of our rally, and thus a vital component to its success.
We are always in need of qualified medical professionals to help ensure the safety of our volunteers, teams, and spectators. These positions are hard to fill, and we are always scrambling to ensure proper coverage. So, please, spread the word to anyone you know that is an EMT, paramedic, physician, nurse, etc.
While both days (Friday and Saturday) would be great, you don’t have to work both days. Just please make sure you specify the correct day(s) when you register in Rally Master Pro.
Those willing to help and volunteer to put on this great event, please register online in Rally Master Pro at http://rallymasterpro.com/workers?group=6
If you have any questions or concerns regarding volunteering for our event, you can address them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and if I can’t answer them, I’ll get them to the proper people for an answer.
